A view from the forest is a collection of short and longer improvisations. Using subtle rhythms and spare instrumentation I have aimed to create an interesting and peaceful sonic environment. The improvisations attempt to create a complex harmony utilizing as little musical expression as possible.
Max Sipowicz manipulates sound. Blending layer upon layer upon layer upon layer of sound, he creates a musical environment which surrounds and captures the listener at the most intimate level. Often dancing between a primitivistic, stripped back sound and an amalgamation of noise. A captivating performer, he feels his music is best presented in small, intimate venues, where he can have absolute control over the soundscape.
